      Toxic management and favoritism

      Flexible split shift scheduling so you can get things done during the day. Good for parents to go while their kids are in school.

      Cons

      Toxic environment from the office staff showing favoritism towards their friends creating a hostile environment for other drivers.

      Amazing job, not so great managment.

      The location I worked for was in Portland, OR. I loved driving the school bus and transporting students.

      Cons

      I would have stayed longer if it wasn't for the toxic work environment. We would get fired if they caught us on our phone driving. Completely reasonable. Untill my CDL trainer pulled her phone out while driving ing the school bus and told me in an aggressive way "I will get fired if they find out i was on my phone so don't tell anyone, and dont do what im doing" I talked around and found out over 5 other people that was working for them at that time had the same experience. I went to the safety supervisor and was told this isn't the first time it was brought up and that she can get a new trainer. Come to find out, all the videos of her in a bus were deleted. She aperently shouldn't have access to delete footage, so it had to be a group effort. If it wasn't for the union I'm sure they would have gotten rid of me for bringing up something that a higher up is doing that they shouldn't, but they don't care so "I'm the trouble maker". One of many examples of the toxic work environment.
