Pros

All the work you want. Techs quitting by the bag full.

Cons

Techs get blamed for everything and management is more interested in what you sell even though you are not a salesman. Mangers run their districts the way they want, not necessarily the way Steris portrays. If you are in the field then it truly depends on who you get for a manager. Pay is way below what other techs in the area are being paid.

Pros

They equip their technicians well. Certain regions would be very good to work for depending on the district manager. As a field service technician, you are recognized as income generator and supported and recognized as such. Prefers to promote from within. Company car and gas card available for personal use.

Cons

Lots of disparity between regions, hearing from other technicians about the style of management they are under leads employees to the conclusion that more is available, but their manager doesn't care to make it available to their territory. Your mileage will vary greatly depending on your region.

High stress environment. Poor communication of changes. Outdated documentation creation and retention systems. Decision making process ridiculously long. Generally negative and highly disorganized environment. High management turnover
