Pros

Favoritism runs wild, it's blatant and just considered being "Part of Steris". Most managers especially in technical roles have no idea what they are doing. Both in the aspect of managing people, but alas doing their job. Managers and directors can't use basic Excel functions, expectations to create giant change yet not allowed to use software necessary. Leadership has no idea what your doing, so if you wanted to, it's easy to say a few technical words and you can slack off for days. Benefits are OK from what I've seen at least.

Cons

Terrible management, completely unqualified. There's a few good leaders in the company but most promotions due based on seniority at company and favoritism. This especially leads to difficulties communicating since management has no experience in what they are overseeing. Terrible pay for market, when demand for roles are going up, they still lowball employees. Then due to poor management and planning, suddenly might need a role and hire a newer employee, still underpaid, but not far off from what someone that has multiple levels above with 10 years or so of experience. Management flip flops back and forth constantly, because they lack vision or knowledge to see big picture. Hierarchy of mangememt is kind of a joke anyways, where you mught have a "Supervisor" leading 10+ people and "Manager" leading 1 or even 0 people. Expectations for work are extreme, and completely unrealistic. It's the type of culture where a manager reads an article in a tech magazine, then expects immediate shift towards that but refuses to provide tools necessary. Projects either extend for ages since no planning or knowledge of subject, or get canceled after considerable time spent because managers don't understand concepts. Managers are arrogant about technical concepts without even knowing the definitions of what they are talking about.

Cons

Management treats you like crap They don’t care about your safety. They are in the office all day while we are killing our selves on the floor. If you are not in a click you will never advance. They will sell there souls for a dollar.

Pros

The recruiter provided me with the median salary amount for the open position on our first call and that's what was offered. Interview process was streamlined and happened quickly. Hybrid schedule Annual Bonuses

Cons

The organization structure is pretty flat, but people have been promoted into senior management roles where their incompetence is very evident. There's a lot of infighting between and within departments, both in manufacturing/warehouse and in the office. The annual bonus payout seems to keep people from leaving. The environment will wear you down if you take pride in your work and want to do a good job, as that is not rewarded at the business unit I worked at. Diversity and inclusion are not evident, which is odd since the business unit leader is a woman.
