      Pros

      There are lots of interesting projects to work on, and the company was fairly quick for their onboarding process compared to another defense contractor I worked at. Having a very responsive IT staff has been really helpful, they will respond usually within a day - or immediately if you walk to their office with a quick request. Compensation is competitive for a defense contractor. There are lots of small office perks, and employee-created groups keeps the workplace fun while getting to know others.

      Cons

      Nothing major at this current time, however the rapid expansion last year has resulted in some new hires not having a dedicated office. Many offices are shared with 2-3 to a room, which I actually enjoy. Some processes may be slow, but its not because of STR specifically but the general nature of working at a defense contractor.

      Pros

      Friendly, motived and hardworking people that makes for a great environment. The company cares about it's employees and there are a lot of opportunities for growth.

      Cons

      It is fast growing so there are some growing pains but everyone cares so much so there is open communication to help solve growing pains.
