Pros
• 13.5% super (excellent as a millennial that is keen to see that balance get bigger, faster) • 6 weeks leave (hell yeah!) • Friendly culture (the complete opposite of "cut throat" culture in corporate life and other defence orgs. People are very genuinely nice and good to work with which makes coming in every day pretty easy.) • Company is interested in facilitating good working relationships amongst colleagues (social club is active and comes up with good outings, plus they throw a decent free BBQ lunch once a month onsite) • Growing and trying to refresh outdated leaders, systems and processes • Bulk-billing visiting GP (Once a month a doctor comes onsite and you can make private appointment at no cost) • Visiting mobile masseuse (Company subsidises short 15min sessions)
Cons
• Growing pains (systems and processes are time consuming to use. Trying to fix but painfully slow) • People fixated on enforcing protocols without being to fully understand the "why" (Some departments are full of people policing outdated processes and protocols without fully being able to explain why and will not let you deviate from them)
