Deadlines/specs for projects with gov can be squishy/ever-changing but you can learn to adapt to it. Some weeks you are working on 5+ projects at once and sometimes working on only 1 or 2. No way to move up or advance in career. It is probably more of a nice landing spot than stepping stone for a bigger thing, I just think it would be hard to advance, very little training or mentorship to advance skills or grow professionally. Also you are on a gov. contract working mainly with gov. so the ways you can move up is limited Not very diverse, but still very welcoming and friendly. I'm not one to befriend my co-workers outside of work anyway (so does not matter that much to me, you can't pick your co-workers). Just sometimes it can feel weird being the only woman on a team and one of the few persons of color.

I enjoyed my time there and have no cons.
