Pros

Granted I understand people have a "honey-moon" phase with jobs for a little bit but I can honestly say this has been the best job I've had to date. The workplace is generally quiet so you can get your work done in peace, yet you can always find a conversation. Management doesn't breath down your neck and the president, higher-ups, and all HR individuals make you actually feel like you are accepted into this family rather than this position. As for being an essential employee in these times of COVID-19, Sabre has been very accommodating with the ability to work from home (you can normally but people do it more now) and always has something going on in emails making sure that everyone still feels connected in isolation. And it really says something when almost weekly, the president of the company takes time out of his day to write not just a couple sentences, but paragraphs about how he hope's everyone is doing well and sound actually genuine. TL;DR - Sabre is a real nice place to work and puts family first with some of the best employees around to boot.

Cons

The only qualm I really have is the 401k match but the president has made it clear he wants to get that raised in the future. Office is quiet as I said so if your looking for an "over the cubicle / just raise your voice to get someones attention" enviornment, that's not these conditions. Everyone gets an office (ask for one not facing the sun... because it gets tasty in the summer and the way the building is hit on some days parts of the building is cold while the other is blazing heat). Only other con is one that comes with tech everywhere, waiting. because you work with people located in Maryland, theres a bit of distance to travel/wait on for certain things. TL;DR - 401k match, temp in office (sometimes), waiting

Sabre Systems Response

I am glad you feel part of the family. Every individual we are lucky enough to work with and their loved ones as well, becomes part of the Sabre family and as such we fight for your best interest, we take care of one another and we work hard for common goals. Glen Ives our President and CEO is very interested in the wellbeing of our employees and as you mentioned has reached out weekly during COVID to share news, encouragement and to remind us that each of us can reach out to him directly at any point. Our team is constantly working our benefits including our 401K. I will see that the team gets your notes regarding a desired increase to the match.

Pros

Family environment. Onboarding made me feel part of that family from the start. Work is interesting and I see career growth with this company and a personal interest by the company in my career growth. First time I have ever said that about a company.

Cons

I really have no cons!
