Pros

1. Engineering team 2. Awesome technology (biometrics) That's about it.

Cons

1. Middle level management are selfish, & bias. They only care about their bonuses. 2. Shamelessly expect you to slog for long hours, come on weekends, etc., without even comp days off (and forget about extra pay) 3. No career growth whatsoever, unless you are buddies with the managers, and play golf with them. 4. Employees are not valued in this company. 5. On the flip side, some became managers with just 2 years' career experience and with absolutely no talent. 6. And now after Safran acquired, nothing changed locally (in concord), but layoffs began. Do not join this company, it is a sinking ship. One by one, people are leaving. 7. Too many politics.

Pros

Sarasota is a very beautiful area 4 day work week Friendly coworkers

Cons

Current leadership are not experienced leaders No future vision since the current upper management arrived (PA CEO and Head of Engineering) Salary employees do not have sick time or personal time, expected to make up anytime missed Management only concerned about passing audits and only select few managers are working on improvements to be able to pass audits without the need for smoke and mirrors Salary employees are required to scan in and out for management Most managers are good talkers with very little technical ability

Walmart of Aerospace

Pros

4x10, Location, Company Expansion - Every 3-5 years there is an acquisition adding to the portfolio. People want to do a good job despite the obstacles placed in their way by Corporate.

Cons

Pay is abysmally below the average in Aerospace Industry despite what HR convinces themselves of. The acquisitions are a mess. Corporate Leadership places unrealistic expectations on the local team while providing no additional resources to accomplish within a ridiculous timeframe. The building is ancient and held together with band-aid. The Network Infrastructure is the worst I've ever experienced in my career. Internet goes down routinely. AOL dial up was better. Corporate France mandates initiatives that add additional burdens to the Managers and Supervisors who are actually trying to keep the business afloat. There are foreign DEI hires that despite displaying a lack of competence, remain in leadership roles (OE Ops Mgr). This location's ONLY saving grace is Lisa Garwood the Asst Gen Manager who SHOULD have been the GM. They brought in someone from the UK. WHY?!?!?
