Pros

Skills and personalities around the legal and compliance teams and other core functions, a dynamic business and strong rewards and benefits.

Cons

Some operational and systems complexity and shifting corporate demands, albeit as to be generally expected.

Pros

Sage used to be a great company to work for — with strong values, good people, and a positive culture Unfortunately, recent experiences suggest a major decline; it now feels like any positive reviews must be bought or heavily incentivized

Cons

Frequent role changes without consultation, training, or recognition Lack of support from management — even they seemed unclear on expectations No clear progression path; promotions and raises felt out of reach Commission structure regularly changed or targets moved, often with no explanation or data Micromanagement without meaningful guidance or coaching High turnover within the team, and morale was consistently low Decisions appeared to be reactive rather than data-driven, leading to instability in role expectations and KPIs

Pros

Colleagues are great. Team leads are great. The lower level managers are great. Decent people, all supportive, and all united in their frustration with the senior management.

Cons

Poor career progression and compensation is below market value. Inflexible work arrangements to the point of being totally unreasonable. Poor work-life balance thanks to high staff turnover.
