Thank you for your feedback, Please continue getting involved in different gigs and keep engaging with your mentors across the business. This way, you'll gain more exposure to different parts of the business, and like many of our colleagues, you'll find opportunities in areas that you may not think would suit your interests at face value, Additionally, we encourage you to continue discussing your concerns with your manager to find the best possible solutions.

Pros

The flexibility and autonomy within my role is the no.1 thing that makes me want to stay at Sage. The salaries are competitive for role in the North East of England where typically average salaries are less than many other areas in the UK.

Cons

There's constant change, which isn't a bad thing as many companies that stand still, are no longer here. Sage is constantly managing multiple changes or restructures at any one time - this can be exhausting for colleagues trying to keep up to speed with everything. Internal comms needs a major improvement for many reasons. The recent announcement on 3 days in the office is a prime example - the wording was horrific, incredibly insensitive and sadly reading the tone - I am 95% sure I could name who wrote and edited it. Rolling back a few years, we had the best colleague engagement when our primary focus was on colleagues, customers and shareholders - maybe Sage should revisit the approach used then and embed more caring colleague focus in our culture now - we had a 4.4+ glassdoor score then! We're humans not robots, show you care and that will help us thrive and want to perform better for you.

Thank you for your review. We have noted your concerns and are pleased to know that you feel satisfied with the flexibility and compensation package you receive by virtue of working with us at Sage. As a tech company, change is a significant aspect of our success as it allows us to reposition ourselves to better cater to the needs of our stakeholders. That being said, we shall work on better supporting our colleagues through seasons of change to ensure their ability to thrive is preserved as they embrace new ways of working. We shall also continue to bring our values to life at every stage of the colleague lifecycle because our colleagues are important to us, and we want them to be continuously reassured of this. Sage is a place where they can thrive!
