Pros

Annual bonus, modern office, agile working style, fairly good holiday allowance, GP onsite, lots of bright and enthusiastic people work here - they are the main asset. Changes to make it more diverse and inclusive company makes it look/feel better

Cons

Salary is not impressive, which is mostly why people decide to leave (but not only!) Interdepartmental hostility – basically, some people think they are driving most revenue to the business, therefore behaving somewhat superior and not respecting others. This probably drives in the cliquey feeling in some places, also within SMG (this group seems to be fairly untouchable). Lack of managerial insights - often feeling that other, more senior colleagues allow themselves to take all the credit for your work, and what I find even more disappointing, is that managers seem to allow this, or ignore it. Fighting for your rights and recognition often leads to being labelled as rude, demanding and ‘not following company values’. Agile working is great, but some people do take advantage of it, and literally do a little work and then, by making a lot of noise, they do get praised (often for work of others) and even promoted! Weak HR department. There are some great people in this team, but, as they say, the example comes from the top, and I find some of the HR leaders quite intimidating, even arrogant. I don’t get the feel that they are here to help you. They are too busy with other confidential stuff, so your request often ends up at the bottom of their ‘to do’ list and you have to chase it.

Pros

ok benefits - medical and dental insurance

Cons

Things started to get a lot worse since the new management members came on board/got promoted. Obscure directions, last-minute plans, ever-changing minds/moods, messy and outdated IT/inventory systems. Management likes to claim credits then blames their subordinates for not working efficiently, but it takes them ages to make a decision even for trivial matters, every process in this company is VERY slow. Very often to hear the mgmt say they are very busy with work, but they could always spare a lot of time to gossip and cook up a storm in the pantry, which sometimes stinks the entire level that other tenants had complained about it. Always needs to be very mindful about who you talk to because some people like to take others' words then create "wonderful" stories and spread around. Very strange team structure that even the mgmt is not sure about what everyone is doing; and there's a huge communication gap because mgmt simply won't listen to their staff.
