Pros

Awesome company with high ethics. Friendly people and work atmosphere is very relaxed. Free gourmet lunch on Fridays. Very good health benefits.

Cons

Very traditional management - has both pros and cons. It feels like the company is still in 80's. No 401K contribution (Profit sharing is small).

Pros

Professional and friendly work culture with employees that have a passion for higher education quality content. Clear and open communication from the CEO who conducts frequent company wide meetings. The compensation and benefits package is incredible and competitive.

Cons

Highly collaborative environment, which means time spent in meetings. One has to closely scrutinize the purpose of the meeting before feeling empowered to decline attendance.

Passive - Aggressive Culture Will Kill This Company

Pros

Free Books Free Coffee/Tea Bonus Payments (Covers the day to day living costs for low paid workers)

Cons

Where do I start with this company. I really think SAGE is losing it's way and as a company does not value it's staff who work long hours under management who accepts doesn't condone the passive aggressive culture of the company. Salaries SAGE do not reflect the market and are very poor. The staff turn over very high due to no avenues for promotion or career growth. Hard work isn't rewarded or acknowledged by senior management and morale is pretty low.
