Pros

Good office environment and friendly colleagues, good place to gain experience.

Cons

Was at the coming just over 4 years, had accepted the poor pay.... But then got a new manager who treated me like a 5yr old who didn't know how to go their job, i left soon after. Pay isn't anywhere near what other companies offer and also you can be assured of having to work late. Leadership is very secretive and not open, so 'middle and bottom tier' workers don't ever know the full picture of the vision and direction they are headed in.

Pros

Flexible working Less "corporate" than other companies (though this is changing fast) No dress code

Cons

Work is unrewarding Profit margins are good but little investment in core business Salaries well below market rate Expenses very stringent - if you are travelling for work it's economy all the way Messaging around Health & Wellbeing inconsistent - morale is very low in parts of the business due to resourcing/ hiring freeze. You're expected to do more with less but no direction given as to how to achieve this.

A long road to... meh.

Pros

Friendly colleagues, pleasant office atmosphere, some free biscuits

Cons

Room for career progression is virtually non-existent for most. The workforce in senior positions remains put for decades so there is no space to move upwards. When a select few staff have been promoted, it seems the company sees no worth in anyone else, even though the place is teeming with over-qualified, deeply frustrated people. Staff are given very few relevant workshops - it's as if the company simply casts most people aside to carry on with the same role and level year after year, after consistantly positive/outperforming annual reviews.
