Company is going from awesome to average to poorly managed
Pros
Good work life balance. Nice environment to work as people are not loaded with too much work. Even director and managers have time to enjoy free time to go play badminton while work hours. With all these company still develops great product and have huge pool of satisfied customers.
Cons
No learning opportunity as the support team has to only pass data between customer and engineering. managers hired from outside who do not understand single bit of product or any kind of technical stuff and do not understand anything what team is doing. people who are not talented but just good in soft skills are given preferences everywhere be it on site travel or internal job change. If you are working hard and performing excellent there is less chance of you getting better opportunity and will get stuck in same role forever. After company went public the appraisal system has changed and so did the percentage which everyone used to get. It has drastically reduced. Because of that so many employees who were working for last 4-5 years have left the company. Just check the attrition in 2 years after company went public if you can and then make decision
