Pros

I have been at SailPoint for 12+ years, the longest in my career. Its a place to thrive for humble, hungry and smart people. Work -> Life balance is excellent. Leadership values company culture and invests in social events. Employee well being programs and the friendly co-workers are a refreshment for new hires. Competitive pay and perks, value for outcomes. Customer satisfaction is top focus across the company at all levels. SailPoint is the leader in Identity and innovating at a fast pace. A great career option.

Cons

None that I can think of. Happy here.

Pros

Flexible work environment. Fully remote. Friendly environment.Nice CEO. Beautiful headquarters. Free lunches and snacks in the office.

Cons

Silent layoffs are a frequent occurrence within the company. Career advancement is often determined more by personal likability than by genuine competence or merit. The culture is excessively rule-bound, where new ideas are perceived as threats to the established order, and rigid adherence to processes takes precedence over innovation, creativity, and meaningful change. The organization exhibits a cult-like environment, heavily fixated on surveys and reviews (literally instructing employees to write good reviews), particularly from new employees who may lack the broader context and understanding to provide informed feedback. Constructive disagreement is discouraged, and conformity is implicitly demanded. The company consistently prioritizes process over tangible results, creating an atmosphere where engineers feel apprehensive about voicing concerns regarding inefficiencies or systemic problems.
