      Pros

      From first contact to first day on the job the process was informative, honest and professionally managed at every step. The interviews were via Zoom but I felt that each interviewer had taken the time to read my resume before hand and have relevant questions about me experience vs. the actual work situations I would encounter every day. The honest approach towards expectations and deliverables was refreshing. Clear , Real and Honest communication was key for me in accepting a position at Salem Media.

      I have a seven minute drive to the office.

      Pros

      It is rare to see a media company live its mission and values. Demonstrates its belief and care about its employees and work environment. Salem exhibits and believes understanding, communication, providing, resources & training, support, and a positive environment. it walks its talk.

      Cons

      High volume of info comes at you quickly. It is important to embrace that info and absorb as much of it as you can. It is important and necessary.

      Pros

      The only pro to working at Salem Media were the people I worked with. They were very nice, knowledgeable, and always willing to help.

      Cons

      The salary is very low, management did not care about employees, people were promoted based on friendships, and management piled on work with no additional pay.
