Pros

The people were nice there. Hours weren't that great unless you like working late or doing a lot of overtime.

Cons

To stressful of a department. To many deadlines that were nearly impossible to reach.

Pros

I am racking my brain trying to think of an positives about Sallie Mae as a workplace and not one will come to mind.

Cons

Unprofessional managers, incredibly low pay, constant calls, "bonus" is unobtainable, no upward mobility, there's a reason building security is so tight. Promotions in collections will never happen because the managers will sabotage you so they don't have to get back on the phones. I left after a few months because the management was so horrible.
