Pros
The IT team at SLM is top notch - experienced, open to sharing, ready to work together as a team to get the job done and supportive of each other beyond anything I've witnessed. Senior management at the highest level is amazing... some of the sharks that are put between those layers and the skilled workers should not be trusted.
Cons
With management in Delaware and new layers of management brought into the mix, the access to decision makers is blocked and it is easy to move someone out of a position to ensure the safety of employment of a "favorite" rather than keeping someone who is right for the job in place. HR is there to help the company, not the employee - never forget that.
