Pros

The people a great to work with. Currently: the job is remote 3 days with 2 days in the office. Computer and phone are provided for home office.

Cons

There are a lot of workarounds to complete the job. Not all of them are known to the employees. The software system does not always work as intended.

Pros

- New C-suite leadership within the past 1-3 years who have a desire to improve the company's operations and product offerings in a patient way - Market leader in private student loan market, which offers numerous business benefits - Good work/life balance and benefits (5 weeks at D level plus numerous holidays)

Cons

- Far from company aspiration to help students to, through and beyond college with very slow pace of change or innovation - Much smaller company than the brand may make you think (1700 employees including hundreds of call center staff) - Limited sense of connection to our mission and each other in my area
