      Silo culture at H.O. with poor communication and shared information. Weak field management. Poor store support from some departments.

      Pros

      Learned a lot from this job and have used it in my current position.

      Cons

      They pay about 1/3 of what other companies in the metro pay because they are located in Denton, north of the metro. If they see you are a hard worker they will take advantage by loading you up with tons of vendors keeping you there all hours while everyone else walks out the door at 5pm. Doesn’t seem to help you advance in the end.

      Pros

      The travel around the country and Western Canada. Friendly, knowledgable, and very helpful co-workers and executive management.

      Cons

      Over the past 9 years there has been quite a few management changes. Before then there had been two CEO's ( Michael Renzoli and Gary Winterhalter). Both men made Sally Beauty into the company that was known through out the industry to the best.
