Pros

Free Product & Employee Discounts. Really got to bond with your co-workers since you're all going through the same thing. Promotes from within. Good training (at least whenever I started & our Trainer was great).

Cons

Low pay. Super strict on time, taking lunches, & breaks (30min. lunch & 2 10min. breaks). Everyone was so busy, it felt like there was no time to even breathe. Made us use PTO if we were unable to come into work due to icy roads. Myself & a pregnant co-worker were told to not go to the restroom as often (apparently going during your lunch & 2 breaks is enough for everyone). Get different answers to the same questions from your various Supervisors. While I was there, 2 people had heart attacks (if that tells you anything about the stress level). Listened in on your phone calls. If you were on the phone with a customer for too long they reprimanded you. Felt like Big Brother. There was a particular person in HR that was very rude, I don't know how she got a job in HUMAN RESOURCES. She acted like you were wasting her time & would talk down to you (not sure if she's still there). I was "separated me from the Company" after an accident, but re-hired a month later (why I returned, I do not know).

Pros

The job is really easy and you get free items every month ,also if you like to shop at Sallys the discount comes in handy.

Cons

Con are the management at sally is really poor. They don't care about their employees. Sally believe that they can hiring within a day, so they don't care about firing you. All sally cares about is sales and they don't care if a employee is being mistreated, when you call to report sexual harrassed or being mistreated they plot to fire you or make you quit.Sally's is a company that many employees don't stay at for long because they have unprofessional management and the company it self is full of unprofessional ,sneaky, conniving ,backstabbers as management and district managers. And my manager there would come to work every day high from smoking weed and was rude to customers, also when the customers called to report Sally's didn't care. And I can honestly can say I regret working with Sally's and ever being an employee for Sally' s beauty supply. And the pay is not that great

Pros

Discount on products, decent, laid-back working environment. Great cafeteria. Most people leave at 5:00.

Cons

Like others have said, this company is still operating like a mom and pop. Most non-managers work hourly, meaning no bonuses, little time off, absolutely no flexibility to work from home (even as a graphic designer). Seems disrespectful. Management is extremely strict about time off taken, inclement weather days, etc. Low pay within the industry for tech jobs.
