Pros

In this position you really are left to manage your own dept. without other managers butting in. The downside to this is when help is needed, its rarely available.

Cons

HO has MGMT doing so much stuff, that they have to depend on others to do the bulk of the work.

Pros

Overall Sams Club is not a bad place to work at, they work with you regarding scheduling and time off.

Cons

Pay is horrible compared to Costco or Target. A person at target in my same position makes approximately 70,000 per year.

Pros

nice people, good pay for what you are doing, bonus for all employees based on store earning. Generally good to work with as far as sscheduling goes, opportunity for some advancement but unless you have a degree there is a definite ceiling.

Cons

sometimes you get lost as just a number, pay scale is seniority based only
