Just the worst possible business during a pandemic

Pros

Exciting technology (cloud + on-premise + game + VR). Broad tech stack. A retail footprint that when running makes money.

Cons

Early tech choices crippled engineering best practices when the company attempted to scale engineering. These issues were being acknowledged and addressed but when all retail locations needed to close because pandemic... Presumably there's a large existing technical conglomeration built by a large number of people who are no longer there.

Pros

Not many companies in Hong Kong are willing to devote to AAA VR experience and willing to hire the right people from around the world to form a great team. It is a pleasure to work with my colleagues.

Cons

Project estimation can be better. Sometimes there is not enough time for us to develop the game and people need to crunch a lot to achieve the goal.
