      Sanmina-SCI has potential, but current leadership and corporate values are driving the company into the ground.

      Pros

      Working at Sanmina-SCI is a good introduction to global electronics manufacturing, but that doesn't mean the same couldn't be had at FLEX, CLS, JBL, Hon Hai, or any OEM. I honestly can't think of any unique trait that makes Sanmina-SCI a better place to work than any other company in the same industry.

      Piss-poor business management, tolerance of bad IT managers/directors, lack of vision, lack of follow-through of said vision, closed communication at the executive level, low salaries,

      The pay is really great

      Cons

      The atmosphere is terrible. They don't care for the employees beyond what the value of the employee is. They try to hide behind "employee appreciation days", but when it comes to being human, you're on your own. Everyone's a workaholic, if you're not, you don't fit.

      Good environment to learn for short term. Free coffee I guess?

      What should I say....there are many cons I can share... -Too much nepotism. -They don't really care about employees, they really just care about how much output they can harness. The retention rate quite low. -Mentors doesn't have time to teach new people. -Some mentors feel like they are the ones control over everything...even the bosses reliant on their advice whether to keep or fire people at random.
