Pros

Lots of overtime meant larger paychecks. Supervisors and management were nice to non-engineering/supervisory folks.

Cons

No work-life balance; 60 hours a week with mandatory overtime. Couldn't plan for anything. I worked and slept. The radio is played constantly on a top 20 channel so you hear the same songs regularly. Can't escape it. Ear plugs can be worn, if they're available. Environment is kept humid to keep static down. Bring a fan.

Not enough resources as the plants try to make as much money as they can from each contract they can to they stretch the staff too the limits
