Pros
The work environment is great. It is very collegial and supportive. Interaction between faculty is very positive and the staff support is very good. The campus environment is also a top feature of the university. The grounds are impeccable and make for a wonderful place to work, study, or simply relax and contemplate.
Cons
There are very few downsides to working at Santa Clara University. The salary levels make it difficult to recruit and retain top quality individuals for both faculty and staff. However, the overall compensation, including salary, benefits, and work environment make it a great place for a career.
