Pros

You can tell people you have a job

Cons

ABSOLUTE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER WORKED FOR!! Zero support!!! onboard training is less efficient then a mc Donald's training. Pulling bodies from branches when there are none to spare. 1 day off a week 50+ hours and they could care less. ZERO value for their employees RUN FAR FAR FAR AWAY

Pros

It’s a job. They pay a decent salary and you get a lot of vacation days. If you want, you can easily get by without doing much real work - I’ve seen people that have been employed at Santander for years that haven’t produced anything.

Cons

If you like to go to work and feel a sense of accomplishment, this is not the place for you. Things move very slowly, if at all, and you very rarely have any high-level insight into what you’re working on. I’ve worked at much larger companies that had much more transparency. To put it bluntly, the upper management is horrible. It’s a very political environment, filled with people who have mostly failed at larger, more successful banks. It’s a recipe for disaster - bring in a bunch of “industry experts” that were not successful at BofA, Chase, Citi, etc. and put them in management positions. There is no clear-cut strategy to win. If this sounds bad to you, then do yourself a favor, and do not take a job here, unless you really have no other choice.

Pros

401k match, parking lot, they require more words for pros... So I'll say... They made the stables where they packed people into like cord wood a pleasant color.

Cons

Employees can't possibly adapt to the constant changes in leadership and strategic direction. Health Insurance is the worst I've ever encountered. Not a good place to work. They should hand out Zoloft at the door on the way in. People who work there really hate this place.
