The only way to move up the ladder and stay there is if you play their politics and if you're white. Other wise they play their role of equality and will make your life ridiculous difficult until you quit on your own so they are not to blame for your departure. In the usa, the corporate Engineering are mainly from Wisconsin and you have to be part of the good all boys to join and last a long time otherwise you are just playing a role of equal rights BS, everyone knows except you. The majority of corparate contractors come from Wisconsin because that's were the big boys play and help each other.
