Pros

1. Being outside: You get to merge your interest in nature and trees with sales, creating a fulfilling career that balances both passions. 2. Job Satisfaction: Helping clients maintain the health and beauty of their trees can be very rewarding, both personally and professionally. 3. Varied Work Environment: The job often involves working outdoors in different locations, which can be more appealing than a traditional office setting. 4, Continuous Learning: The field of arboriculture is always evolving, providing opportunities to learn about new techniques, diseases, and treatments. SavATree has lots of resources and knowledge people. 5. Client Relationships: Building strong relationships with clients can lead to repeat business and referrals, which can be satisfying and financially rewarding. A lot if room for opportunity if you put the time in.

Cons

1. Inconsistent Income: Sales-based roles may experience income fluctuations which can be challenging. 2. Client Challenges: Managing client expectations and dealing with difficult customers can be stressful and time-consuming. If you aren’t willing to have difficult conversations with customers this might not be the job for you. 3. Travel Time: The job may involve significant travel to various job sites, which can be tiring and time-consuming. You are compensated for this but something to consider. 4. Stress: Balancing sales targets with the technical aspects of arboriculture can be stressful and demanding. Be prepared for the peak seasons.
