Pros

SavATree keeps up with the tree and lawn care industry with chemicals, equipment and training. The expectation of growth for all employees is high and it is as much focused on the employee setting the pace for advancement as it is for the management to push for advancement of those under them. This leads to great learning and growth potential

Cons

Expect long work days and lots of weekend work. there is a blackout time in the spring to early summer where SavATree does not want employees to take vacation and overall benefits could be better.

I have seen a lot of negative reviews about savatree but the truth is it’s a pretty good place to work. I started working there in 94 straight out of college and I got the chance to work with the most talented people in the tree care industry. I worked there for 18 years and found them to be fair and generous when it comes to pay and compensation (Christmas bonus and 401k profit sharing) I learned much from my time at savatree but most importantly was how to communicate and not to doubt yourself. These are qualities that have helped me in life, savatree is a business and they have tolerances for employees, if you don’t mind being held to a standard then you should talk to them
