Pros

Sometimes you get free food

Cons

I wasted five years of my life working for SavATree in a grossly underpaid (compared to market rates) and overworked position in the Corporate office. I had the opportunity to see the total lack of care that upper management and ownership had for the well being of the employees. The only way to make any sort of advances (and even this isn't likely) is if you're willing to stab co-workers in the back and sabotage their careers all while brown nosing upper management and never questioning any of the ludicrous crap that they try to push. Notice how many people have marked the negative reviews as 'helpful' while the ones with 4-5 stars (this was an HR / management initiative to try and raise their ratings) aren't viewed as helpful at all. That's because they are complete and utter fabrications. And don't get me started on the sexism experienced at the branch office level. There are offices where arborists and management treat female employees like it is still the 1950s. Upper management knows about this but doesn't give a damn to change it. Do yourself a favor and find ANYWHERE else to work. Any other tree company. Anywhere.

As far as corporate goes, we are pleased to see a wave of former employees coming back to us - with five former corporate team members returning to work with us after taking positions elsewhere. We continue to be committed to improve the employee experience. In 2016 we began our partnership with GALLUP as the industry leader in the area of Employee Engagement. Through this initiative we committed to Employee Engagement as the pillar of our management culture. The good reviews you mention are authentic examples of the positive impact of this undertaking.
