Pros

Coworkers worked well together, casual work attire

Cons

I worked in the new store before it opened and a few others and I have quit already.. What I do know is that Savers management could care less about retention..Cons are low pay, poor management, ridiculously long and stressful training, dusty and dirty environment. Its almost as if the company tries to withhold information to brainwash employees. You're placed where they need you to be. you have no choices in this environment. Saver's contributions and Benefits to the community and its employees are slim. Hopefully they will bankrupt soon.

Pros

Extremely simple jobs with no mental stress involved. Discounts.

Cons

Extremely hazardous working conditions. Almost no safety procedures are followed. Donation bags can be anything from trash and dead animals to illegal drugs and other paraphernalia. Product trailers are crammed and stacked unsafely risking falling debris and glass. Unrealistic goals and expectations on a daily basis. Poor staff scheduling. Someone is always doing two or three person's work. Management assumes you do not know how to perform your job duties. Pricing is always fluctuating, making for unhappy customers. Was told would receive a raise after 6 month review during 90 day review if kept satisfactory performance--at 6 months was told corporate decision to no longer give raises at 6 months of employment with good performance. Overworked and Underpaid.
