Overworked little pay

Pros

Great employee discount and flexible schedule

Cons

Overworked for little pay and if working closing shift you will likely work over your time most nights to get store cleaned up. Mondays are very overwhelming because that is our 50% off everything day and every employee is required to work Mondays and the store is a disaster at the end of the night. Imagine trying to get the store cleaned up on a Monday.

Savers: Avoid at All Costs

Recommend
CEO approval
Business Outlook

Pros

It was a job to work.

Cons

I had an incredibly frustrating experience at Savers. Their policy requiring us to call the store instead of simply texting the manager is absurd and inefficient, which only adds stress to an already chaotic work environment. It feels like promotions are handed out not as a reward for hard work, but solely as a band-aid to avoid breaking state minimum wage laws. The high turnover rate and wildly inconsistent scheduling make it nearly impossible to plan life around work. Having to submit any time off requests two weeks in advance is both inflexible and unfair.
