Pros

The employee discount it great, it pays pretty well for a retail company with opportunities to get a raise every year based on your performance. Part-time employees also get vacation time and an opportunity to recieve quarterly bonuses as well as a halloween and christmas bonus, which is quite generous. Management is willing to work with your availability if need be. Savers suppports non-profits for a good cause.

Cons

-Full time is not available for operations team members. -Overpricing donated goods. -Bonus is hard to make because they keep raising the sales goal. -Scheduling is inconsistent, as with most retail jobs. -It is very dusty, if you have allergies I would advise you to take allergy pills or not work here.

Pros

The discount is good and it's 15 cents higher than minimum wage.

Cons

2/3 of my managers treat their employees with disrespect. Says to respect them, but doesn't respect us. One of my managers is rude to customers. Whenever a manager is needed for a pick up or an exchange, nobody comes. Such a hassle for managers to do their job.

Pros

I worked on the production team in a recently opened store (only a little over a year or so old), and I have to say, the initial production team was a dream. They were amazing people to work with and spend day after day with. The customers tend to make a bit of a mess at times, but they also are some of the kindest people you'll meet. Even though I spent most of the time in the back, I knew a lot of our regulars by their first names, as they always went out of their way to say hi.

Cons

Management doesn't care. They'll overwork you, and yell at you when you don't do the job 10 other people should. When you're in the back, it's snowing outside, and they refuse to close doors? This job will slowly kill you. Management acted like a bunch of spoiled kids with no real attitude on how to deal with actual humans. They failed to meet multiple safety requirements. Working 10-12 hour shifts in the these conditions, plus having to cover the multiple empty vacancies, is way too much work for minimum wage.
