Pros
I've made some good friends and learnt a lot about how to be a manager of a relatively busy store.
Cons
Constant pressure to achieve unreasonable targets! They have a habit of employing people who don't achieve, then we are stuck with management that have to have their hand held for months. There's no incentive for sales assistants, management have a bonus scheme and christmas conference's with "celebrity" guests. The whole team besides top 2 have to just keep on working as hard as always, without even a thank you! Higher management don't seem to care at all about the people that actually keep the shops stocked and the customers happy.
