Pros

Job itself is pretty simple, my team members were great and managers were fairly nice and helpful.

Cons

I found the scheduling to be ridiculous. This wasn't a student friendly job as the hours were pretty much non negotiable and not flexible at all. Maybe it was just my location but my manager wanted me to adjust my school schedule to accommodate the hours she wanted me to work, which is the reason I left the job.

My best is that I've been here 16 years the support is massive an the greater is that my area manager is the best always on call 24 7 then there's the Xmas conference they put on food alcohol plenty of an fee gifts it's an amazing company but the back bone is the area manger she's outstanding because of her I became a store manager an she supported me all the way

I enjoy working at Value Village. They have been very flexible with me. It has to be hands down my favourite retail position to date, I have worked at 6 retail stores in the past 15 years.

Cons

I have issues with the pricing but as a cashier I don’t have any say in that, but I hear a lot from customers about it.
