I have worked at Savvas Learning Company for over 4 years now, having previously worked for a publishing vendor for about 10 years. What I find rewarding is that I know I’m making a difference in the lives of students and teachers. So many of my friends and colleagues tell me that their son/daughter/niece/nephew uses one of our products in the classroom. At Savvas, we are always trying to improve our products to make them more inclusive and diverse. We regularly receive feedback from academic and teacher reviewers, and more importantly, we implement their contributions. We truly care about all learners.

Pros

Savvas is a relatively new company, separated from Pearson in 2019. Since the formation of the new company, Savvas leadership has continually shown care for the employee experience, often not only meeting, but exceeding our expectations. The seem to genuinely consider and reflect upon the way employees will engage with Savvas policies and leadership decisions.

Cons

I wish the career paths within Savvas were more well-defined, but I expect that to come as the new company continues to cement.

Savvas is a very exciting place to work. Our focus on providing innovative learning solutions to students in the US and across the world makes our work so important. It is really fulfilling to be part of a team that is doing so much good for individuals and the communities we serve. I love working with people from all across the country who share my passion for helping others succeed and we have a lot of fun doing it.
