Pros

Good benefits. Base pay was OK, goes up by 5k after a year. Training was pretty good. Sit and stand desks. Opportunity to make a lot of money if you can stay sane making cold calls to businesses all day. Training will work with you. You get assigned a mentor, mine was amazing.

Cons

Business to business cold calling all day long. They say they don't want you to track the number of calls or worry about the number of calls.. but if you don't do 85 calls a day, you get a nasty email asking you why you didn't hit your calls? Makes no sense. Even if you have 2 hrs of meetings you have to hit 85 calls or you will get talked to. Very outdated process to get clients. Most companies you call don't want to talk to you b/c they get 10+ logistics brokers calling them daily. Very crowded market. You will work in a crowded office with about 3 ft of personal space, very loud environment very hard to focus. Footballs constantly flying around, most unprofessional office I have ever worked in. Agents are able to play their music really loud, makes it very difficult to sound professional on your cold calls with Tupac playing in the background. As a seller you get the customer in the door and then you as a seller have to depend on a broker to get you a truck. You have to depend on a lot of other people to make sure your client is taken care of. Just not my cup of tea. Barley any leads are provided 90% of leads you have to find. Worked about 45 hrs a week and usually worked through my lunch to try and hit 85 calls. You have to vet your calls before calling, which is a crappy process that slows you down.

They Lie to there drivers

Pros

Decent Trucks and operating centers

Cons

I've been OTR for over 1 Year, Consistently lied to every weekend for open hrs on pre assignments, missing load info, etc Lots of OTR Drivers sitting on weekends based on fictional work assignments, and next appointment times being shoved out, late in the day on Saturday, very shady with pay just starting out, Not a place for longevity for drivers, after 1 year loads and miles are light, be careful keep track of your pay and watch out for DBL lies! They will stop at nothing to get driver turnover, Why? Because they make money on driver turnover thru there training. One week out of class 90% Of class was gone, But they get federal grant money for everyone they run thru class, Good luck.

We're sorry for your experience. We have an open door policy and always want to hear from our drivers. We hope you reached out and gave your feedback when situations came up like this. Our priority is our drivers and we "hire to retire" and many drivers that have over 10 or 20 plus years with us. Best of luck to you in your future.
