Pros

Great benefits and plenty of time off. Great product and nice people to work with.

Cons

Always adding extra work in short notice instead of thinking things out and taking time with roll out.

Pros

Everyone is nice, interesting, willing to help and listen. The location is fabulous, and the work done is rewarding and fun.

Cons

As in the entire publishing industry, it's difficult to find entry level jobs in the desired department.

Pros

Pros to working at Scholastic are the supportive directors and colleagues, and the equally challenging and interesting projects you work on.

Cons

Cons would have to be internal communication. Members of different departments and divisions have difficulty communicating with each other and the work of different business units tends to overlap.
