Pros

The people doing the actual work are good to work with. The people in the trenches are cool, they're battered and beaten, but they're cool. Compensation was alright. If you are a "YES man" this is your place to be. Just be careful ever voicing any concerns, they will come back to bite you. It is career limiting. The people who actually do UX work are amazing designers.

Cons

Not sure where to start. HR does not protect the employees. HR is a gossip machine. Most people are scared to speak up or looking for other jobs. Engineers are treated as first line support, its constant fire fighting. Priority here is dictated by which contract can we get right now to make our quota this quarter even if our product doesn't do what we are saying it does. This causes us to have to build it poorly and quickly or it results in us playing a shell game with the poor customers for years on end. It feels like this company is run like on giant grift. We are often encouraged to keep expectations of customers high while knowing we can't deliver on something so we end up damaging relationships.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We truly appreciate your insights, and while we are sorry to hear about your frustrations, we value the opportunity to address your concerns and offer some context. First, we agree that the people doing the work are often what makes a company great, and we’re glad to hear that you found the colleagues in the trenches to be talented and dedicated. We also appreciate your recognition of our skilled UX team. Regarding the concerns you've raised about HR, we take confidentiality and employee support seriously and we have established a number of mechanisms for employees to share their concerns. We take immediate action when made aware of specific and actionable feedback and we work continuously to improve the effectiveness of these channels. As for the work environment and engineering challenges, we understand the pressure that comes with fast-paced development and shifting priorities. Our goal is to provide all employees with the necessary resources and support to thrive, and we continue to evaluate how we can better align expectations and workload. We also recognize the importance of clear communication with customers and are working on ensuring that we set realistic expectations and deliver quality products. Thank you for your input. We are committed to fostering a culture of openness and improvement, and we will continue to listen, learn, and act to ensure a better experience for all employees.
