Pros

Pays pretty good, and a casual work environment. Get 2 weeks vacation to start and 12 paid holidays.

Cons

There is almost no room for advancement, and hardly any training. Lots of internal politics. Company has recently gone through major downsizing after acquiring 2 companies in the last couple of years for $8B and trying to re-coop some of the cash by a mass layoff in December.

Working at Scientific Games

Pros

The individual parts of the company are better than the whole. The company was formed by 4 companies coming together and is very disjointed and there is no cohesive structure or culture. Strong creative and R&D mindset.

Cons

Too many fiefdoms, still aligned to legacy companies. Some senior executives set in their ways, very resistant to any change.
