Cons

Spanish owned, very different culture to traditional UK companies, small company behaviours and mindset Lack of systems, formal processes and procedures Culturally immature Don’t know what good looks like Overall competence level of employees is low Lack of flexible working Backwards view of tendering, lowest bidder wins!

Pros

Great benefits such as share save and SIPP. Good pension. Own time management. Treated and trusted like an adult.

Cons

Really under resourced. The amount of work expected to complete is unachievable

Pros

Great company to work for, SP generates only renewable energy and leads the UK energy transition. Also have a competative benefits package for an organisation of this size.

Cons

Big 6 status means media reputation is not accurate i.e. assumes company profits come from customers while retail margins are actually extremely small. Profits are generated from regulated and renewables business and reinvested in future infrastructure projects which contribute positively to Net Zero targets.
