Pros

Work life balance was good, pay was fair/decent but could've been better, the people I worked with were overall very good, they are a real 'family company' with good job security if you like that kind of thing

Cons

Very old fashioned, outdated working culture - a colleague once quipped it was 'male, pale, and stale' and it really was. I was mistaken for a HR apprentice despite having an engineering degree and given PPE designed to fit men. I was the only woman at the assessment centre day, all other candidates were men. You often weren't taken seriously if you didn't fit the company mould (male, white). The work was a bit dull/repetitive at times.
