      Pros

      I came into a high functioning team and was given the opportunity by my VP to make changes, develop my people, add systems and to address gaps and deficiencies. I find the opportunity to fix or define process improvements abounds. Scotts is determined to improve so while roadblocks/old attitudes do exist there is a desire to move forward , recognize shortcomings and address them.

      Cons

      Strategic Workforce Planning is not in place at Scotts yet and it shows, managing to a budget is not a strength and helps to generate "Growth" which is a euphemism for we cut costs here to fuel expansion there. Senior management is mercurial.

      Okay pay. Decent 401k match.

      Cons

      Large staff turnover.. After four years with this company, I'm heading out. IT/software issues, one of the worst I've ever experienced with an employer.
