      Pros

      - Excellent comprehensive benefits package - Very competitive compensation package within industry - Scotts does a very good job of promoting from within the company.

      Cons

      - Even though Scotts is a large company, the sales and business development teams are relatively small in my opinion. This makes the process of moving up with the company incredibly competitive - which isn’t necessarily a “con” per se, but from a pure numbers standpoint - it can be a big hurdle for those looking to advance within the company at a reasonable pace in comparison to a lot of other industries.
