Pros

the vehicle is awesome. has potential

Cons

- culture is bad!!!! Run!!! I have been here since the beginning. nothing changes ... it gets worse as it goes. I've been in startups and this is by far the worst. north Carolina move is hated by everyone. many have quit. the project is already in shambles, with this move its gotten worse. - promotions are only for upper leadership and a select few. an exceed expectations employee would receive the same amount of raise as the meets expectations. which makes you feel like doing the bare minimum. which many are slowly doing. - there is VP's and managers that do not do anything(zero!!).

I regret working here.

Pros

The potential is great. Perfect environment for only former and current VW employees to thrive in while everyone else is considered inferior.

Cons

Employee retention is not a priority. They will change employment terms and benefits with no notice. They boast about bringing back an American icon but are really just building an over budget, behind schedule obsolete German car. All decision makers are extremely out of touch and based outside of where the primary offices are located. Culture is toxic and executive leadership makes it worse. Departments compete for limited resources. They overcompensate to appear as if they support DEI causes in order to avoid unions.

Pros

Pros: There are many dedicated, capable employees who genuinely want the company to succeed and have worked hard to deliver key milestones.

Cons

Leadership at the C-suite level does not effectively listen to or act on employee feedback, creating a disconnect between decisions and reality. After major milestones, employees who contributed significantly often feel undervalued, with more emphasis placed on compliance with top-down directives than on experience or insight. This impacts morale and trust.
