Pros

The people in the trench were good for the most part. Parties, corporate challenge, food, break room, nap area etc. etc.

Cons

Every group seems to have lazy people who are buddies with managers / directors and literally don't pull their weight but get away with it. Bringing concerns / complaints are met with deaf ears. Promotions are non existent unless you're drinking buddies with managers / directors / VP's. Work load and expectations are often unrealistic and unmanageable. Training and documentation is lacking, and there are many people who if they were hit by a bus tomorrow would leave huge gaps with their longevity. Their systems and processes are so antiquated it's not even funny. Management refuses to get with the times and listen to the people actually doing the work. The inefficiencies are glaring but no one wants to change. The sales process is embarrassing. They will literally contract with someone for a product that doesn't even exist yet and sit on it for years before scrapping the idea or installing some washed up solution that doesn't work as they were originally sold.

Pros

ScriptPro is a gem in Kansas City. The family owned business has a warm atmosphere and a can-do attitude amongst employees. There is a lot of attention paid to new employees to make sure they have the training and knowledge they need to do an excellent job. Plus, employees are all helpful if you have questions or don't know how to do something. The owners seem to listen and care about the employees. This year we filled out employee satisfaction surveys and within a short time the owners made major improvements to employee benefits. At other organizations those types of improvements would have taken at least 6 months, but here it was done quickly. It shows that they really care about employee happiness which makes it even more motivating to do a great job. There is always something fun happening, farm parties, holiday parties, bbq competitions, etc. It really is a fun culture to be a part of everyday and makes it fun to come to work. Finally, the campus is beautiful. There is a sense of pride to see all the landscaping and flowers around each building and certainly adds to the world class products we produce.

Cons

There are some politics, like everywhere else, but other than that it's a very pleasant place to be. If you try hard and have a good attitude you'll have a great time here.

Pros

I have been working at ScriptPro for less than a year. This is one of my first jobs post college, and I am very pleased to work for a company like ScriptPro. From a new hire perspective, ScriptPro takes the time and money and truly invests in their employees. The first three weeks of working here was spent in training. Anyone and everyone is always willing to help and answer questions. ScriptPro is a family run business. The CEO, Mike Coughlin, is a genuine, passionate, innovative, caring and ethical man. He treats his employees like family, taking the utmost care for them. He is also surrounded by a team of executives that operate in the same manner as him. ScriptPro not only listens to their employees' concerns, but they also ACT on them. Just this year, they improved our health insurance, 401k, added a holiday, upgrading employee phones to newest version of the iPhone, and much more. I am very grateful to work for a company like ScriptPro who takes care of their employees and I am very optimistic about my future with this company.

Cons

No employer is perfect. There are aspects to every job that are irritating. However, at ScriptPro, there are no "dealbreakers" that would make me leave this company. The pay is average, but at the end of the day, you are working for a company with an outstanding reputation in the industry and product that is revolutionary.
