Good company, good people, no chance for promotion

Competitive salaries, good people to work with. Lots of good talent. Plenty to learn about storage. Working on latest hybrid drives.

Cons

NO chance for promotion above senior engineer. Promoted too many people too fast many years ago, now promotions are rarely, if ever, handed out.

If you are looking for a place to work where your work is appreciated and honoured or having the ability to contribute and influence a large organization, this is the place you find.

Cons

Like all most medium to large corporation, there will always be imbalance somewhere in the organization, hence there are room of improvement. In today world, you don't expect to find a company to work your entire life, even Japanese corporation cease to have this belief.
