Pros

Will hire almost anybody but that also includes slins and unprofessional types.

Cons

Office staff in Tulsa has a bad reputation for being rude.and the pay is low. Was getting $8.50/hr there and am still an unarmed guard getting $12.75/hr elsewhere. Theres better out there if you do the research.

Pros

Securitas gave me a job when I desperately needed one. My managers have been really easy to work with and being a patrol officer, my nights are never quite the same. There is always something out of the ordinary going on which makes the job a lot more interesting. I might have to write a book someday about the weird stuff I've seen on this job. I've racked up plenty of overtime as well. They are also making a good effort to keep up with current technology.

Cons

Training needs to be expanded. They give you two days to learn a job and you're on your own. Pay is low, especially for patrol officers. We are worth far more than we are paid! Working nights and weekends sucks but that goes with the territory if you work in security. Malfunctioning alarms are a pain in the hind quarters but again, that goes with the job. Benefits are also kinda crappy and a 12 hour shift by yourself can seem to last forever.

Pros

Little to no micromanagement. Once you are past training, they expect you to do your job.

Cons

They screw you on overtime hours. You will sometimes get shifts over 8+ hours, (Most I've done is 16hrs), but they will fail to pay you for overtime because they will cut off a consecutive working period at midnight.
