Fast Growing Business... but not Sustainable

Pros

Great initial product offering, SSC competes well in the risk rating space from a feature perspective.

Cons

Where to start... customer retention is relatively low for several reasons. 1. SSC doesn't enable its customers during onboarding 2. The customer success team assigned to accounts is ill-equipped to do more than ask how the weather is, AND they're grossly overworked, which makes this somewhat understandable. 3. SSC is more than willing to do bad business, such as make side deals for free licenses under the table to make customers happy, pre-book deals before a customer issues a PO, sell deals direct to hurt their resellers, price fix deals given to partners, and generally promise the moon and the stars while delivering an economy class ride on Spirit Airlines.

Pros

I have been pleased to see the engagement from the organization whether that be regular communications, all hands calls, or recognitions. It's a welcome sight. The team I work with is very enthusiastic and loves both figuring out a problem and executing on the solution.

Cons

Not really much of a con, but the company has clearly grown quickly and with that comes lots of tools and ideas that now need to be cleaned up.
